About this mod

Immersive Equipment Displays preset with a large curated list of npc's to receive gear and those to not.

Requirements
Permissions and credits
This is a preset that works on many NPCs in Skyrim.

A carefully curated list of npc factions and individuals was built in to the display rules of the gear so that only NPCs who would fit the part, like soldiers/guards/thieves and people with combat likely in their lives, carry potions and only NPCs who are wearing armor are effected. Many NPCs are included and any missed ones will come with time. Coin purses are also included with similar, but less restrictive rules because almost all need coin. The player character comes with some extras that are disabled by default, like a dragonborn book on hip, hatchet on backpack and a flower from the 3d mountain flowers mod, just in case the player wants to enable them or attempt to make their own and needs a template.

Priests will not have coin purses. Children will not have coin purses. Sleeping NPCs will have their potions hidden. Arrested NPCs and the player will have their potions hidden.

I will be building this out in to a large preset covering all of skyrim's npcs with interesting gear displays, all crafted to be immersive and to remove any jarring or out of place items. This is only the beginning. I feel IED mod is heavily underutilized on nexus, so this is my attempt to show it's capabilities.

All items have physics. You can disable this across the board in the tools>settings part of the mod(backspace by default to bring up interface).

I built this with wearable lanterns, cloaks and capes, cloaks of skyrim and convenient horses in mind. The horse equipment(again disabled by default) is made for the imperial saddle from convenient horses, may look weird without it.

This preset is further customizable with knowledge of IED mod. This took me forever haha.

Currently doesn't include rules to crosscheck inventories for these potions, the entire belt shows up regardless.

TO ENABLE OPTIONAL FEATURES LIKE SCROLLS, BOOKS, FLOWERS, BACKPACK HATCHET ETC.

Don't forget to check for optional features in IED interface by pressing backspace.
Check the "View" drop down in the top left and make sure both Display Manager and Gear Nodes are checked.
Then in the display manager click view again and select "custom items"
Click actor and in the  drop down below it click on your characters name.

You can click these to expand them and uncheck "Disabled" to activate them. Make sure you scroll down to equipment overrides on each option, the first unchecked "disabled" in the list is not the one you are looking for(except for the fishing pole). You may need to expand the category with the small arrow.

The fishing pole and the wood axe are made for the "Adventurer Backpack and the Adventure Backpack with Bedroll"

FOR NOW weapons are very basic.

Does include some special rules for shields regarding backpacks. Shield will adjust accordingly. Also has some rules for backpacks vs your weapons. More to come soon.

COMPANIONS WILL NOT ALL ADJUST PERFECTLY

Its near impossible to achieve the perfect look for you companions weapons due to their inventory and what they use. To customize your own companion, press backspace under gear nodes on the right hand side, select actor and choose your companion from the drop down, from here you can customize their weapon placement. This mod comes with some preset options for lydia, mostly disabled weapons so she isnt decked out from head to toe in weapons from holding a lot in her inventory. I will look in to fixes.
