About this mod

A selection of patches to bring together two differing views of how Caesar's Legion should be loaded out and hopefully solve crashing issues introduced by the Caesar's New Regime mod. Also includes my own personal patch tuned to my desires.

Would strongly recommend overwriting the original CNR esp with my cleaned version I recently uploaded here before installing any of the patches from this mod.

This is a selection of patches meant to help the Arizona Slave Army and Caesar's New Regime mods play together nicely and do away with any crashes introduced by Caesar's New Regime.

Since the authors of the respective mods have differing views of how Caesar's Legion should be equipped, you will find three different files, each with a specific name that will help you understand which mod the patch aims to focus on. Going forth, "ASA' is shorthand for "Arizona Slave Army, "CNR" is an acronym for Caesar's New Regime.

1. Arizona Slave Army - Caesar's New Regime - Realistic Edition. This mod seeks to bring all Legionary soldiers up to the standards introduced by Arizona Slave Army. Where I did not see direct references from ASA that I could all but copy, I've sought to introduce a kind of compromise between the work of the CNR team and the archetype set forth by ASA, yet still be true to the original vision of the guys of CNR. Legionary armours and weaponry have been tweaked to give order and logic to their outfitting. See the included readme for more details

2. Caesar's New Regime - Arizona Slave Army - Hollywood Edition. This mod gives the Legionaries all the Greek helmets, all the plumes, all the gold and all the toys introduced by CNR. I've reequipped soldiers from ASA into CNR gear so the sun will shine off the head of every legionary you see and enable the Legion to win by blinding every single NCR profilgate in sight with the sheen of their glorious, golden gear that the eyes of the dissolute are unworthy to gaze upon!

3. Roma Invicta Legion Overhaul - Am I Not Merciful Edition. This mod will give all the Hollywood, but the Legion has been tweaked to be more "merciful" in ending the lives of the dissolute more efficiently. Their combat styles have been tweaked and they will always pressure their enemies or the player, either through sheer volume of fire or imitation of melee supermutants. Heavy Juggernauts have almost unerring accuracy, Brutal Juggernauts are equipped with ballistic fists to really a person's day when they're not hacking an unfortunate to pieces and more! A word of warning to the wise - do NOT let yourself become a pincushion!

4. Legion: Conquest of New Vegas. An ASA-based Patch that has Combat Tweaks as well as some additional armours from Folks of Flagstaff and The Blackjack Pack, both created by YanL. All Legion soldier stats are brought up to ASA standards without exception, be they native or mod-added. My own personal patch tuned to my tastes.

(Mods with strike-throughs either are being tested or I'm waiting to see if there's interest in it. Track this mod to be kept abreast of when new mods are released, updates are put out, etc. Upon request, changes to the Legion safehouse and/or removal of the underground Legion base will be available.)
