Subtle whispers can be heard near spiritual and religious objects or near scenes related to death and cannibalism. Chances of hearing whispers near objects related to tribes, spirits, death, and religion are drastically increased.

DETAILS
In the Mojave Wasteland whispers occasionally have a chance to be heard near a small number of locations. This mod aims to drastically increase the chance of encountering whispers near tribal, spiritual, and religious objects or scenery. I also figured playing these sounds when exploring different scenes gives the player additional opportunities to be immersed.
FEATURES
The Courier and other spiritual wastelanders often hear whispers near certain objects, items, and scenes. Ghostly and holy whispers can be heard near spiritual and religious objects while intrusive whispers are heard near much darker objects or scenes depicting death and suffering. Spiritual objects and items include burial mounds, totems, bone trees, and tribal signs. Religious objects and items include gravestones, graves, crucifixes, crosses, scriptures, and churches. Intrusive objects and scenery include skeletons, rotting corpses, mutilated bodies, gore and guts, heads on pikes, chained corpses, pierced corpses, and caged skeletons. Versions featuring ghostly (spiritual and/or tribal), holy (religious and/or cultish), and intrusive (raider and/or cannibal) whispers. Hearing these whispering sounds while exploring outdoors or looting interiors can potentially add to the atmosphere and sanity of the Courier. Whispers occasionally play one of many whisper sound effects at random when standing near objects with the grave whisper sound assigned to them.
INSTALLATION
Choose only one version to install. Install the latest main file. For manual installation, extract the file to your game’s data folder. For a mod manager installation, install the file with your preferred mod manager.
COMPATIBILITY
This mod will conflict with mods that make changes to sounds of similar objects and items.

This mod is recommended to be played with my mod Immersive Canteen Sipping.
