This mod will disable or replace spotlight objects such as light, mist, terminals, etc. Since many of these do nothing but disturb night time exploration. Special spotlights such as the ones found around Diamond City, Goodneighbor, etc. will not be altered.
The game splits spotlights into two types, statics and activator objects. - 1 Statics do not have a trigger cone, - 2 activators have a trigger cone.
The latter was also removed or replaced/altered and many locations do not have a spotlight which can track the player char anymore. However, gunners and a limited amount of raider groups still use spotlights in their camps. The BoS extensively uses spotlights by default vanilla and are unaffected and keep their spotlights in place.
The remaining spotlights which can track the player char will not make any sound while tracking. Overall the environment is alot more silent now.
In the future i will probably redefine the spotlights in certain enemy camps since the mechanic/feature itself is very nice. Last but not least, some former unusable objects can now be used. E.g. spotlight terminals now act as a simple container.
