About this mod

Adds new crafting part and resource, and adjusts electrical item recipes. Adjusts Impact Wrench values. Removes Night Vision Goggles and adds it as Helmet Mod. Adds new Ratchet and Impact Driver mods.
The mod has been tested and is compatible with the latest update Alpha 21.1 b16 Stable. The mod is required both Client and Server Side.

ROLYATJA - ELECTRICAL TOOLS AND MODS

BACKGROUND
This mod came about because I thought, "Why do Nailguns and Impact Drivers require Motor Tool Parts (Chainsaw Blade) to craft them? It doesn't make sense, they are electrical items and shouldnt use gas motor parts?!" I also thought, "If Augers and Chainsaws have gas motors, and use gas, what powers Nailguns and Impact Drivers?! They must be battery powered."

I was browsing through the game icon files and found one for Ni-Cd Battery Mod, which I presume is an unfinished future mod. So I took the icon and made it into a required crafting item for several electrical recipes.

WHAT DOES THIS MOD ADD?
  • Electric Motor Tool Parts
    • Adds a new crafting part that is used to make Nail Guns and Impact Drivers.
    Custom icon and is added to Trader and Loot.

  • Ni-Cd Battery
    • Adds a new crafting ingredient that is used to make Nail Guns, Impact Drivers, Stun Batons, Mining Helmets, Flashlights, Robots, and several electrical mods.
    Custom icon and added to Trader and Loot.
    Can be salvaged from Laptops and IV Stands (1-2 and 50% Chance).

  • Night Vision Goggles Mod
    • Removes Night Vision Goggles (Apparel) and adds Night Vision Goggles Mod (Head Armor).
    Allows the user to wear their preferred attribute glasses or goggles, while retaining the ability to use NVGs on their head armor.
    Custom icon and added to Trader and Loot.
    Adds schematic and ability to craft. Recipe includes Ni-Cd Battery (2).

  • Impact Bit Set Mod
    • Adds a new Ratchet and Impact Driver Mod that increases Attacks Per Minute (Salvage Speed) by 25%.
    Custom icon and added to Trader and Loot.
    Adds schematic and ability to craft.

  • Impact Socket Set Mod
    • Adds a new Ratchet and Impact Driver Mod that increases Attacks Per Minute (Salvage Speed) by 50%.
    Custom icon and added to Trader and Loot.
    Adds schematic and ability to craft.

WHAT DOES THIS MOD CHANGE?
  • Impact Driver
    • Recipe is updated to include Electric Motor Tool Parts instead of Motor Tool Parts.
    Recipe is updated to include Ni-Cd Battery (2) instead of Duct Tape.
    Stamina usage and Power Attack is removed.
    Attacks Per Minute (Salvage Speed) is doubled from 50 to 100.
    Block Damage is lowered from 100 to 60.
    UI Display is updated and removes Stamina.

  • Nailgun
    • Recipe is updated to include Electric Motor Tool Parts instead of Motor Tool Parts.
    Recipe is updated to include Ni-Cd Battery (2) instead of Duct Tape.

  • Stun Baton
    • Recipe is updated to include Ni-Cd Battery (2) instead of Leather.

  • Robotic Sledge, Robotic Turret, Robotic Drone
    • All Recipes are updated to include Ni-Cd Battery (2) instead of Duct Tape.
    Robotic Sledge and Robotic Turret Recipes are updated to include Mechanical Parts instead of Scrap Polymers.
    Robotic Drone Recipe is update to include Electrical Parts instead of Scrap Polymers.

  • Rad Remover Mod
    • Recipe is updated to include Electrical Parts instead of Glue.
    Recipe is updated to include Duct Tape instead of Spring.
    Recipe is updated to include Ni-Cd Battery.

  • Mining Helmet, Flashlight, Laser Sight Mod, Reflex Sight Mod, and Stun Baton Repulsor Mod
