About this mod
An attempt to change the Way of the Four Elements subclass according to the Way of the Four Elements Remastered homebrew. Not everything will be 1:1, but it should be consistent enough.

This mod is my attempt to implement the Way of the Four Elements Remastered homebrew. I think this should at least make the subclass better compared to vanilla. Not every ability was implemented, and some abilities will function a bit different than how they are specified.
You will be able to upcast valid spells. The implementation for upcasting is not ideal in terms of UI. Also due to the nature of the implementation some spells I couldn't really make upcastable without it looking like a mess, so I didn't. Unless Larian decide themselves to implement Ki Point upcasting, it will have to do. Most spells that people would want to be upcastable will be upcastable. I am also providing an optional file to "fix" The Spellsparkler staff not working with Monk spells.

- Abilities will be learned at levels 3, 6, 8 and 10. Because the cost of abilities is the same, you will get an additional Ki Point at levels 8, 9, 10 and 11.
- Water Whip is a Bonus Action and costs 1 Ki Point, but because you can't upcast it, you will be able to use a spell on the same turn.
- Some abilities you won't be able to upcast, but they will still benefit from Improved Elemental Casting, which is learned at level 8.

- Water Jet won't have the secondary effect of being able to move creatures where you want, instead it will push enemies away from you. Allies won't be pushed.
- Pyrotechnics smoke cloud will function as a Fog Cloud instead. It will last 6 turns and in 4.5m radius, instead of 10 turns and 6m for the smoke.
- Spellfist Stance will be default, just like in vanilla.
- Shaping of the Ice (ice box) will be a default learn at level 3 and cost 1 action point. I see no use in making this take a spell slot or use Ki Points because you can just carry a chest in your inventory.

- Before installing the mod you should respec to another class that is not Monk.
- Install with BG3 Mod Manager.
- Baldur's Gate 3 Script Extender is required. You can install it from the site or from BG3 Mod Manager.
- Note that this mod will conflict with other mods that modify the Way of the Four Elements subclass or its spells.
- Before uninstalling the mod it is recommended to respec to another class that is not Monk and make a new save. This is to minimize the chance of crashing after.
