This is a config file I made using various tweaks found online and the tool Bethini PIE by DoubleYouC. Optionally also comes with a bypasser dll that will let you run the game even if u get the "your graphics card doesnt meet the minimum requirements" message.
Managed to get a more than decent shadow-performance combination with an old GTX 970 with this, but the no-shadows version is also available
This also doesnt come with the stupid ass bright interiors bug , it was volumetric lighting that caused this and has been removed as well, they will still look a bit washed out and bright but it will be easier on the eyes now, TAA has also been removed along ambient occlusion, grass distance lowered, amongst other things.
INSTALL:
BACKUP original filesĀ
Drop StarfieldCustom.ini and StarfieldPrefs.ini in MyDocuments/My Games/Starfield
Drop your chosen Low.ini in the main starfield directory
Open up the game and load a save, cycle your preset to medium then back to low.
You can change the resolution afterwards.
HIGHLY RECOMMENDED mod to use along with this in case you still have terrible fps somehow:
